A-Wall, who is currently 21, actually began experimenting with music way back in 7th grade. His initial dabble in music isn’t what many would expect however. Initially under the artistic name “Rosso Bird” he would work on creating EDM, a big musical influence at the time came for him was Deadmau5. Not too much later however, that initial plunge into the music making world would come to an end. A-Wall would not make music again for another 3 years.

When A-Wall came back to music it would be to create hip-hop. This time under his current name; A-Wall. This return was attributed to him wanting to make a track to prove to his friends he could actually rap, however, not wanting to be taken too seriously in case he flopped, he told them he was making it as a joke.

A-Wall’s current music creation is more akin to indie-pop. What sets this musician apart however is the incorporation of electrical elements into his sound which stem from his admiration for EDM. A-Wall who often records, mixes and produces all of his work, is able to fully flesh this unique blending of sounds and in doing so creates a sound all of his own.

A-Wall began bubbling in Dallas’s indie music scene following the release of his initial 2018 project “Verano.” A year later in 2019 he would cement his position as one of the most versatile artists in Dallas with his release of “Helios.”
