CHROMA’s beginnings date back to 2017, a hobby that began between two friends (Bleu Santana & Kalid Abdul) which three years later, and with four new members (Polito, Jon, Marvin and Andres,) would become one of the fastest growing groups in not only their native Dallas, but Texas as a whole.
CHROMA’s unique ability to seamlessly blend American indie hip-hop with Latino musical influences has quickly garnered them a following. Their loyal fan base is now waiting to hear on when their second project will release following the drops of their successful “The Year of the Puma” (2019) mix-tape and follow-up single “Civic EX” (2020.)
The collective’s signature sound hails from their various influences which range from Rosalia and Calle 13 to Tyler the Creator and Brockhampton.
The collective consists of Bleu Santana, Polito and Kalid Abdul which make-up the musical creation part of the group, Andres who does the group’s graphic design needs, Marvin is the main creator behind the group’s video content and Jon who is in charge of all the groups managerial and public relation duties.
