Chicago artists Nico Supremo and IsaiahG join forces on “Hoodie”. Starting with the music, Nico’s lyrics are lighthearted and charismatic, with strong tones of motivation and hope for his music. The production allows both artists to truly show off what they can do as it doesn’t overpower their voices yet it isn’t nonexistent. IsaiahG’s verse is certainly clever and exciting, which combines well with Nico. There’s great chemistry between the two and it shows with the fun lyrics and upbeat tempo. The video, shot by Gian Frias, consists of the backdrop of Chicago’s skyline from across the river, paying homage to their home. Which grounds the video to a very homely setting.
