Grex- SWIM
Grex just dropped his thirteen-track album SWIM and with it he makes another reach to the top of the underground ladder.
SWIM see’s Grex culminate the knowledge and artistic growth he’s gone through over his couple years in the scene into one cohesive album. SWIM is set out with the message of expressing the struggle endured in keeping one’s mental state above the bombardment of punches life deals. This is done through beautifully dark writing on Grex’s behalf, all the while including various other cryptic undertones that draw the ears in for an attempt to formulate a meaning for your mind to relate with.
An ominous production paired with throat wrenching vocals has the innate instinct to rage that exists within Grex’s followers, begin to bubble with the albums opening piece Petals Dancing in the Wind. Not too much later though, that instinct boils over. Before long the album will have your brain wanting to express its shot of audio-induced adrenaline with a few elbows in the middle of the pit.
