With the world currently on the cusp of imploding, it’s only natural for a few of us bystanders to want to distance ourselves from the chaos and just vibe out. Well, if you are one of the aforementioned bystanders, I bring you the perfect song to vibe out with.
Nine Moves West latest release, “Death of Me,” is a single which hypnotizes beginning to end. It’s colorful synth pattern, hard hitting drums and harrowing vocals, courtesy of Benjamin, the band's lead singer, will give you an inexplicable need to take a late night cruise with tinted glasses and look at your cities bright lights. Another person who deserves equal attention for putting this track together is singer & songwriter Mary Jo, whose contribution added a much appreciated gloss to what was already a foundation.
Death of Me as a composition combines a melancholy subject matter with the color of 80’s pop, and it’s for this reason that it’s the ideal song to add to your playlist as the season passes from summer to fall.
