PIWA - Love Letters [MUSIC VIDEO]

Dallas native, Chicago residing, R&B artist PIWA collaborated with visual creative Aj Incammicia to release a lyrical and visual piece of art.

This track released a few weeks ago, and upon first listening to it, I felt it. An all consuming vocal mastery is displayed by PIWA, harmonizing her room filling voice in sync with a low laying electrical production (which she does herself.) She navigates you on a journey across a soulful astral plane, that is sure to invoke deeply rooted emotions to burst out from within you. A colorful palette of orchestrated sounds make up the previously mentioned electric production, ranging from soft piano keys to hushed snares.

Now let’s move on to covering Aj Incammicia’s encapsulating translation of sound to picture. Washed purples, pinks, blues and reds construct the color palette that bring this retro 80’s like aesthetic to life.
