Listen to “Changes”, a hard display of DFW based artist TARIF.
A haunting production that hits hard when it’s paired with TARIF’s lyricism. The focus is entirely on TARIF’s armory of style. Really showing his volume and voice, gritting his words and changing how he delivers lines. He does exactly what the song says, changes. This is veiled by the message TARIF is presenting in the content of his words. The combo, as mentioned earlier, makes for a track that should catch ears and get people noticing. The song structure is done very carefully and skillfully. A very polished track and produced well by Play-Odds, as the tone the beat brings is a major focus that succeeds in upping TARIF’s hard hitting words. Another artist to keep your eye open for when it comes to releases, for quality over quantity is a major motif carrying over TARIF’s tracks. However, this track is set entirely different from his previous release, Doubts. In which he shows how natural, rhyming and rapping comes to him a very laid back mood. Contrasting to a very serious tone, TARIF is much more performing and zeroed in on "Changes.” This is a great display of range and keeps me on my toes for what to expect next from TARIF.
